Ethernet AUTOSAR Engineer

About the role

Job Purpose

Develop deterministic Automotive Ethernet communication across AUTOSAR, AVB and TSN systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Automotive Ethernet communication solutions and AUTOSAR Ethernet stack components.
• Implement IEEE 802.1AS, 802.1Qav, 802.1Qbv, 802.1Qbu/802.3br and 802.1CB TSN features.
• Develop and debug Ethernet communication stacks on Embedded Linux or RTOS.
• Integrate and validate AVB/TSN on ECUs, gateways, Ethernet switches and end nodes.
• Analyze traffic, latency, synchronization and performance using protocol analyzers.
• Collaborate with hardware, systems, software and application teams; participate in architecture reviews and technical discussions.

Technical / Functional Skills

Requirements

• Automotive Ethernet, TCP/IP, UDP, VLAN, QoS, Layer 2/Layer 3, switching and routing.
• AUTOSAR Classic and Ethernet stack knowledge: EthIf, Eth, TCP/IP, SoAd, DoIP and SOME/IP.
• AVB/TSN implementation, gPTP/PTP synchronization, shaping and scheduling.
• Strong C/C++, Embedded Linux/Linux Kernel or RTOS and networking-stack development.
• Vector CANoe/CANalyzer, Wireshark, Git and JIRA; strong debugging and communication.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Device-driver development and Lauterbach debugger.
• Automotive ECU development and Ethernet-switch configuration.
• Linux/Android/RTOS development.
• ISO 26262 awareness and ASPICE knowledge.

Qualification & Preferred Industry Exposure

Required qualification: BE / B.Tech / M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Embedded Systems or a related discipline.
