About the role
Job Purpose
Analyse material, conversion, labour and overhead costs and support cost-efficient product and process decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates covering direct and indirect costs
- Maintain material-price, labour-rate and overhead costing databases
- Coordinate with Design, Procurement and Production to collect cost inputs
- Compare planned and actual costs and investigate variances
- Prepare cost-benefit analyses for product and process changes
- Identify cost-reduction and process-optimisation opportunities

Qualification & Preferred Industry Exposure
Required qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Preferred industry exposure: Manufacturing or engineering costing exposure, preferably heavy machinery or construction equipment.
Working Conditions / Travel
Primarily office-based at Pune HO, with occasional factory visits.
